Winged Beauties

This series is composed of the wings of damaged insects that I have received, turned into something new. Most or all of these specimens will have slight damage to them, but just because they are damaged, it doesn’t mean that they aren’t still beautiful.

Perfect Pairs

These moths are paired up together in this gorgeous collection of natural brown wood frames, perfect for any rustic home.

Callosamia promethia

  • This pair of Callosamia promethea come from right here in North America. These ethically sourced moths got to live out a full life before being collected and framed. This pair is mounted on a beige Victorian background in a 8” x 8” frame.

Antherina suraka

  • These Antherina suraka, or Madagascar bullseye moth, come from Madagascar.  These moths are mounted on a beige vintage wallpaper background, in a 8” x 8” frame.

Automeris io

  • These Automeris io were collected right here in the US. These moths come from Pennsylvania, and both lived a full life before passing naturally. These moths are mounted on a brown and white floral background in a 4” x 6” frame.

Eacles imperialis

  • These Eacles imperialis, or Imperial Moths, come from right here in the US! These ethically collected moths lived a full life before they were used in this piece. They are mounted on a brown and off-white circle background, in a 8” x 8” frame.
